Pro Tip: We recommend holding down the forward or back buttons to skip by full days at 10 days/second. Change the time or date to see how the comet changes. The time controls should be visible at the bottom. Once your time is set, go back to the comets list and select your comet of interest. You'll want to set your date in Sky Guide to something near this date because that is when a comet is closest to the Sun. Slide one of these left to reveal shortcuts and tap on the info button. You'll see some of the best comets in this list. First tap the search button and navigate to Comets. ![]() The first step to enjoying comets in Sky Guide is to know when to look. This lets you not only go back in time to view some of history's greatest comets, but you can also get a sneak peek at what newly discovered comets might look like at their closest approach. Sky Guide will retain this offset preference for your current session.Ĭomets are dynamically generated in Sky Guide with coma and tails that are based on real physics. Then drag left or right to offset the augmented object until it is aligned with the real object. If things are still not lined up, use a touch and hold gesture to activate the Compass Correction option. We first recommend giving the compass a few moments to settle in. Real objects and their corresponding augmented objects are not perfectly aligned. Sky Guide automatically tries to adjust the blending of the constellations with your sky but if the constellations are not appearing quite right, you can use a two-finger up/down gesture to fine-tune the blending point. The augmented reality constellations sometimes appear patchy against the sky. This is normal behavior due to the longer camera exposures needed. When your surroundings are very dark, you may notice some ghost-like trails behind moving objects. Augmented reality mode works great under a blue, daytime sky, but it has also been designed to function under a twilight and even nighttime sky. Will augmented reality mode work at night? You will then see a new camera button appear which toggles AR mode. To activate it, first tap the center compass button to turn motion on. Thank you.+ iPhone 6s and later or iPad Pro and later (includes 2017 iPad)įinding stars, constellations and planets is easier than ever thanks to augmented reality. ![]() If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I really want to play and enjoy this, but so far that hasn't been the case. It's either full or nothing to get it going. I tried to fly a jet and at full power the freakin thing just goes in circles and won't do anything else. It will let me calibrate it in game, but the throttle is reversed, even after I click on the reverse axis thing in the calibration screen. I have removed it completely from my computer and just tried to install it in the game, I tried to find new drivers to download, nothing has fixed it. Anyway, nothing I seem to do fixes it so that I can fly anything with this dang joystick. So if you can help, please break it down Barney style for me, I am trying to become more tech savvy. I have read through pages and pages and it just seems that other people can just figure it out somehow, but it doesn't make much sense to me. Hey yall, so I searched Google, YouTube, this platform and I can't seem to find anything that will fix this.
